Hey, i don't wanna ask my American friends to help me write this post, cause it won't be completely mine. So you have to endure my poor English. Yeah, it's still poor, in spite of studying it for ...(embarrassing to say)... years. Sorry.
Why in English? Well, I doubt that the main heroine of this post will be ever able to read and understand it in Russian. In the coming ten years at least..
So the name of the little heroine is.... ta-da! Elena!!! She arrived in the world several days ago and was named after me, as her mom asserts!!!
wow, it humbles me... but also makes me very happy every time i think about it!! It makes me smile, makes me feel important and reminds me about some fantastic gorgeous people!
Little Lenochka is a lucky girl, actually. She has such great parents!
They are loving and talented, wise and righteous, smart and funny, what more could she wish for? Besides that, she has a multitude of great relatives, who will make her life super bright and happy.
Rachel is her mom. We became very good friends while she has been studying Russian here in St.Pete. She likes pickles, music, and other things which i do like too. We had many sweet cool happy moments and days, spending them together, and hanging out with other friends. I can't count cool things we have done together - walking, playing, cooking, having so much fun!
I remember when Rachel walked with me all night long, just because i couldn't get home.
I remember her teaching all of us to play "Pass the Pigs" - oh, that was fun, i remember her teaching me great things easily and without pressure just by her wonderful example.
She radiates so much light, so it's not just light around her, but warm too :) you can't stay the same person after meeting Rach - you'll become better without fail.
Love her with all my heart.
I met Rachel thanks to Joseph, who was so nice to make his sister come find me. Joseph is such great that I'm afraid to use any words describing him cause all of them will belittle his greatness and superiority. Love Joe to death, but don't tell him, or else his head might get too big.
I just wanna mention that he is too talented in many ways. He's shared with his talents with me while he served his mission here in St. Pete, and he keeps sharing with them nowadays.
Well, more than that - Joseph was too nice to make his other sister Becky come find me while she has been doing searchings for the project against the alcohol and tobacco here. Oh, that was such an 'atleechna' (~wonderful, amazing~) time, mostly because of her great personality and influence on me. But also because that was way fun hanging out with her and other American friends: practicing English, visiting sights, helping with that project somehow, talking and laughing, sharing not only our thoughts but the same bedroom too.. It's not possible to not love Becky if you got to know her. It's not possible to forget her too.
So the heroine No 1! She arrived safe and sound, healthy and cute, as it should be since she is Lena. We have to live up to our name and bear it highly, if it makes sense.
I wish i was there to help Rachel with everything. Little Lenichka is her second child so that might be a bit harder now.
I also would like to see how Lena grows. If i was there i'd sing her Russian lullabies and tell her Russian fairy tales.
I'm thankful to God for letting me meet these wonderful incredible people! I would love to see them again, i would love to be there - to say how much i love them. And to hold little Lenichka...
Happy Birthday, Elena!!
